Hi all if any of you are interested in this months Car Mechanics there are 2 articles that may interest members. The first is a general article from the RAC about problems with the clogged fuel filters and the make up of the fuel that is causing it. I heard this covered on the radio before christmas and it sounded very much like the problems some of the members have had and the excuses they received from dealers. And the other piece is about a mk2 1.6hdi that had an egr fault but not your normal one. The crap airbox mountings were missing as usual and the owner had done nothing about it and in the end the airbox had worn a hole in the egr and airbox so in the end it was an expensive replacement.
Worth a read if you got nothing better to do.
