How to change spark plugs?
#1
Heart
New to the forum and car as well.
Just purchased a 2007 1.4 Berlingo van (60K on clock) my first frog car it has some unique design features impressed so far.
I have been going over it with a fine tooth comb and want to change the spark plugs, is there a guide available to show me how to do it.
It is hard to get stuff over here.

Welcome Kahan!!
We have couple of members who are from Oz and one of them, Addo
is an Berlingo expert beyond belief! He'll be along shortly to give you the
answer and probably tell you where to source stuff in Oz.
Which bit are you in....the hot and very sweaty north or the not quite as hot and sweaty south?

It's pretty easy you just need some Torx screwdriver and a deep socket. Remove the top cover, unscrew the coil pack which is a whole sealed unit and lifts off from all 4 cylinders, then you will see the spark plugs. Just take it easy when screwing the spark plugs back in as you don't want to feel any resistance as that is a clue that you are cross threading. You don't even have to disconnect the coil pack, just lift it and rest it to the side.

Live in sunny QLD BRisvegas.
Have spent some time in your neck of the woods, boy it gets cold outside over there.
Cheers
