Clutch problem

Hi every one. Have bought a 1.9 belingo van 2006. Have had a new clutch put in and now getting a shuddering / vibration in 1st and reverse gear. Can any body help. Thanks

Perhaps the gearbox mount hasn't been fully tightened/or is in need or replacement (these get pretty bad eventually)?

You get the most torque reaction in first and reverse, so it'll show up in these gears first.

A new one of these (part available for under £10 if you look carefully) often transforms the car.
