Even a small amount of old oil will very quickly colr the ne oil black. Also did you check that the oil was drained not sucked, and in accordance with latest Cit instructions? Turbo failures have bee reported following poor servicing reimes. How you check what oil that they used is not easy if you were not there to witness it.
Vehicle is with Citroen as of now so will get back with their report

Sorry to hear about your problems Caskin.
I have never found any of the "fast fit" centres any good, they all rush the work , however if anybody knows different please let us know.
These new engines need the right oil as opensauce says, anything else can cause issues........
New pads should "bed in" within 50 miles or so.
As for the brakes , "spongy" brakes would infer air as stated.
In my past I have had problems with Vauxhalls ( Astra's and Corsa's mostly) , the master cylinder can invert the seals if you are not very careful when changing pads.
I have not heard of this problem with any other make , unless Citroen are prone too ?
Regards
Jon

Sorry to hear that you are having problems. I am very surprised that you needed new discs after only 20,000 miles but once you mentioned Halfrauds it makes sense, I guess the 'fitters' get paid bonus on the parts they sell. I have no doubt that most of the main agents are no better. I would certainly bite the bullet and have the oil changed again.
What have Halfrauds said to you since the service?
good luck

I must admit I was surprised to read that the discs would need changing after 20,000 miles.

I wouldn't let HellFrauds anywhere near a car that I owned....they charge top dollar,
don't do the job properly, and will deny everything.
They stock the correct oil and Castrol Edge 5W-40 isn't suitable according to Castrol ( http://castroledge.com/oil-range/5w-40 )
Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 C2 would work but I'd stick with this one from Halfords, : http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/store...yId_165581
Better still I'd put in the right stuff from Total!
So you have had the wrong oil put in and they have clearly failed to bleed the brakes correctly.....and given your car back to you and taken your money.
Wonderful!

The genuine Total oil is cheaper than Halfords own brand if you get it from the right place.
If you don't feel like doing the servicing or you are not up to it buy the correct oil and filters and take them with your car to your local small garage. The will be more than happy to do the work for you using your materials.

The oil should have the PSA B71 2290 spec. The Castrol Edge 5w-40 oil doesn't from a quick look and shouldn't have been used.
I would be insisting they dump and refill while I watched.
This kind of thing gives the engine and manufacturer a bad rep when they later fail.

Solved...Citroen bled system now everything back to normal.Whoosing sound was vacuum pump working overtime as pedal pumped. Citroen also carried out health check and had no issues with semi synthetic Castrol 5W=40 that had been used. But lesson learnt, definitely no more Halfords or quick fix cheap outlets!!!
Thanks for all input

Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk Citroen stated they find most discs are changed between 13000 and 25000,have to admit to also being amazed, but to quote Citroen Rep:Most discs supplied these days appear to be of a "softer" manufacturing standard"

I've done 80,000 miles since I got mine last year, pads where changed about 6 months ago but discs where ok. To be fair thats mainly motorway miles so I guess my brakes don't wear as quick as the average runabout.
