Do the side doors on the 'lingo need periodic adjustment?
I ask as:
- The driver's side sliding door does not easily come off the open 'latch', there is a bit of a knack to it, while the passenger side is fine.
- The drivers side sliding door also impacts the driver's door slightly, paint has come away from the very top edge of the door.
Thanks for any help!

Hi there
I just adjusted my doors slightly Today, work on both sides took about 30 minutes,
I followed this link:
http://www.squidoo.com/slidingdoor
Tho there is no need to remove the whole handle cover as described, just bend it carefully away (inwards), and use fitting tools to loosen and tighten.
it got better, and remote key works again (it locks and open).
BUT i am not satisfied get, still the sliding door on one side are not so tight as the other one, the door is about 2 millimeter further "out" then the passenger front door, and it needs to be more tight/closer. When i push the door, it is some wiggle..
I tighten screws all the way on the door.. is it more i should look for?.. Must i change rails on the top? Is it possible to adjust the rails on the top?

I had the same problem with mine, a quick squirt with GT85 and it's been smooth for six months now. Releases easily and slides so much better.
