hi guys, just bought a littler berlingo van, so joined up to learn more and work out issues,
the passenger seat on my little van (1999 1.9) has broke, I have the chance to buy a seat from the 2007 berlingo, I know the pattern on the seats are different ( that doesn't bother me as seat covers are fitted) but will the seat physically fit into my 1999 van?
cheers
Chris

It should do, I put a pair of 2000 (mk1) pug partner seats in my van which is a 2005 (mk2). They just bolted right in, the only slight complication was the seat belt assembly so I just swapped my old one in. The passenger seats in both vehicles were the fold down type.
2005 Enterprise 600 1.9D - It did 85 once but started to smell funny.

Does anyone know if leather Xantia series 2 seats will fit in a 2004 Multispace?

Xantia seats wouldn 't be a straight swap, you'd have to remove the Berlingo seat off their rails (the seat is welded on) and attach the Xantia seats on top of the Berlingo rails.
There is a guide to changing the seat for a non standard one somewhere on here.

I've put Xantia seats in a Berlingo, the catches are:
Passenger side: No tilt. Solution is to skin the seat and have it retrimmed on the Berlingo foam and framing. I've temporarily put a Berlingo seat in again.
Driver side: Thicker back means that (on a van) it hits the bulkhead sooner. Also slightly elevated position by comparison. Some people don't mind the extra height.
It's basic frame only; you'd lose the electric tilt and slide.
