Scandinavian mode
#1
Over on Berlingo.org I've seen discussions about having a so called "Scandinavian mode" activated by the dealer. Presumably keeps dipped lights on while driving. Anyone heard of this being activated or know if it can be done with a Lexia?

Daytime running lights mode where headlights come when you start up, normally supplies a lower voltage to headlights to preserve bulbs. Actually switching on lights supplies full voltage. This has always been the case on cars supplied to markets that require daytime running lights.

So if you could activate this it would be good to check that reduced voltage was being supplied or you would be replacing bulbs more often.

This can be activated using Lexia.
There's an option in BSI, called "Day running lights".
I did it several weeks ago.

You mean this?

HI PK. That's what I was referring to. Many thanks. Do you know off hand if this mode run's the lights on a lower voltage (as mentioned above) to extend the bulb life? I ordered a Lexia today.

Das ist ein Unsinn. Ich war recht Smile

12 Volts everywhere, even on 30th plug of alternator.
Fairytale about economy mode was not correct.
