Bike Rack
#1
Following on from previous threads....
This is my bike rack.
Had it many years. Ideal if you have 1 or 2 bikes.
Only ever carried one, and works very well.
Very strong, simple and easy to fit.
Any questions...Confusedcratch:

I've got one similar to j90xxx's and have carried 2 MTB's on it no problem.

Only problems were, 1. You need a ball-type towbar to attach it to, 2. I had to use a trailer lighting board and number plate as my lights and number plate were obstructed.

Martin, hope you got your number plate at a good price as the supplier shown was next to the dearest locally. Should have spoken to Andrew first, but then again you are one of the Clayton nouvea-riche, n'est pas !!!!

Had the number plate years!
Keep recycling from one vehicle to another.
And yes, you need (and I have) a lighting board.
Still, excellent rack for the money.

Nice one, I use the lighting board off my trailer but saying that, we have not had the bikes out in ages.

Think I paid either £20.00 or £25.00 for the rack going back a few years....

I paid the same, about 12 years ago. Been brilliant.

Taken the plunge into the world of "tin tents" today.
Bought (or brought?) a 1993 ABI Ace Airstream.
Absolutely mint. 1 and a half owners from new. (Second owner never used it due to ill health.) CRIS registered.
Recently serviced, too.
Everything included, ready to go, even an awning.
Collect it Monday.

Will be asking you loads of questionsConfusedcratch: (by PM and text), so brace yourself...
May even ask the Forum, as some will have experience of caravans, and I am a complete virgin.
