Remapped
#1
Thought I would offer my experience to anyone considering au remap.
Had my 2008 1.6 hdi mapped 3 months ago and 3000 miles, so Power from 90 to approx 112.
More power smoother, better low down torque.
ave consumption up to 52 from 44 mpg. Big Grin
on downside, bit more black smoke when floored but Now cruises happily at 80+. If I stick to 65-70 on the motorway , the computer shows 65+ mpg on a long journey.
Spent 200 quid having it done, but so far so good. van now on 67 k

hi Pete, I am down South, Bridgend, but had the remap done in Caerphilly. I have heard bad things about the little boxes and a bit of a pig to fit on your berlingo too. as for the insurance. Shhhh. Nobody knows . I know I should declare it and will do at renewal

really need to get a remap on my 63 plate 90, as it's running a chiller conversion, it's up to 30,000ml since novermber 2013 so would have paid for its self already, the problem I have is finding a full day to go get it mapped
