Post: RE: LPG servicing

I had a 1.6 with LPG until I sold it a few years back. If it is running on LPG with no faults, there are generally two filters to change. A wet filter which is usually around a solenoid valve which ...

The battery should be 14.2 or thereabouts when the car is running. Could be a duff battery or failing alternator.

I bought mine off ebay for £17 and it's been fine for about 18 months now. Sorry, in terms of the wires, there is a wiring connector to take off when you drop the blower unit out of it's postion. ...

Yes all you need is a new resistor pack like this  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Heater-Motor-B...2120618191 Fit it to the top of the blower in place of the current one and job done.

It depends on your model - AC or non AC That one is the correct part for mine with the AC and it's an easy job to do. You just remove 3 screws under the passenger side footwell to drop the blower uni...

First thing I would do is take off the internal door card which will give you access to the mechanism. Press the internal button and see if it's pulling the wire and compare it to what happens when ...

I use NGK LFR6B in mine. Always been fine but I change them often as mine is Lpg. The steering pulse is a feature on mine although it's not drastic.

I have done mine several times. You shouldn't have to cut the nut. If there's no flat they usually take an Allen Key at the end of the thread to hold it from spinning so I have always used that and t...

Have to say I'd take the 500. It's not likely to be worth more than 1200 to 1500 and it's unlikely you will get a new engine even fitted for the difference let alone buy one.
