Re-mapping HDi75 to Hdi90
#11
This is something that needs to be done correctly. That is crucial!
I can recommend the guys at Quantum Tuning. The work is guaranteed and if you're not happy
they will put it back exactly as it was FoC.

PS the standard 90bhp can be tuned to around 128bhp.....but I think that the increase in torque
on their 'Blue Map' is totally adequate and you won't cook the OEM clutch!

I cover 70k plus miles a year in my 75 van, my only reason for remapping/chipping would be for fuel economy.
Various Companies claim better economy as well as power/torque but has anyone here got real time experience with improved mpg figures?

Yes! I have and I re-mapped my 90 bhp and it gives better fuel consumption. :brickwall:

I have a tuning box on my 75 and I went from average 48mpg to 56mpg. There is a definite increase in power and torque, but I don't know how much.. I am looking at the Celtic Tuning Stage 2.. They put the 90 map on and then remap that to around 120. I was quoted 250 for that, which I thought was pretty reasonable. I would stay away from tuning boxes though, because they only adjust the fuelling it can cause all sorts of problems (which I have encountered) I have the box set on a low setting so the problems have gone away..

1994 Renault Clio 1.8 16v - 212 BHP
1993 Renault Clio 1.8 RSi - 110 BHP

I used a CR-box from 75hp to 90hp.
The power has increased, fuel consumption decreased.
The fuel pressure sensor isn't that easy to reach.
The bluesparkautomotive tutorial is the best one to follow.

If I chose to remap my 2010 110 HP XTR with Quantum Tuning, the power would increase from 110 to 137 BHP and torque from 250 to 310 NM and there is a dealer only 8 miles away
Mmm, got me thinking now
