I think they finish it off really well, and very well fitted too mate, bravo. I think it is the same process as i did with the footwell lights i installed on one of my old cars. Just get a strip of LEDs and piggy-back them off the relevant lights they are mimic-ing.

My, my, aren't these continentals sophisticated
Goodness,I can't even spell sophisticated!
But,it is nice and warm in the winter. We had the house built about 13years ago and I also have an inspection pit in the floor.
Well,I used to run a classic Range Rover V8 so was always underneath it at weekends

I'm just jealous !!
It's no fun either having to do a job or just doing a bit of hobbying when you have to wear six layers

I decided to fit another strip of LED's above the first,to follow the contour of the rear lamp...........
.........this isn't a good picture, but I think it looks much better.
And a corner view.........
I placed the second strip so that they just go down the front edge of the lamp,I wanted to re-fit the original strip so that they run from under the lamp, then the second strip would have finished nicely at the top,but that would possibly have meant damaging the original and there isn't quite enough gap under the lamp anyway.
Or I can cut the second strip shorter so it finishes at the top.

The strips are already fitted with 3M tape, very strong, that's why I didn't try to remove the original strips.

Cheers, reason I asked is the strips I've just bought come without any tape or backing...
