[Engine] Injectors

The fuel injectors that thread into the cylinder head are very difficult to undo. I have tried heating them and they still won't budge! Any ideas please?

If there is a carbon buildup they are really nightmare to remove:

Some sort of DIY is possible but I think the cost of building that is near the same if done by professional.

if you have a 1.9 with the screw in injectors try poring some cellulose thinners around the injectors. However they should come undone with a large breaker bar.

It helped when I bought a longer torque wrench ant the right size socket!
Thanks though, the thinners idea looks like it might help in future.
