Superb Quality
#1
Watched a programme about the construction of Aston Martin cars last night. Couldn't help but think about the commonality shared with the Berlingo. Superb attention to detail and quality control at all stages and a thorough shakedown testing before leaving the factory, but I suppose you pay for what you get at the end of the day.

How many Aston Martins would last the 331,000 miles that my B9 Berlingo van has covered since November 2010, often with a pallet in the back exceeding 350kgs in weight, and about two thirds of the mileage was driven on motorways cruising at 70 mph?. I'm taking delivery of my fifth Citroen van shortly and they have all been hammered doing 75,000 miles a year on average. That's the kind of "quality" I'm looking for!

Totally agree, do you want an ornament or a vehicle - all my cars including my two classics get used as utility vehicles, anything from garden rubbish to suspension bottoming old metal. If I won a "nice" car, I'd simply have to sell it.
