Locking the Sliding Door
#1
Hi All

Has anyone come across a way of locking the sliding doors with the battery disconnected

Tailgate is electric lock and with battery disconnected it is locked already. The two front doors can be locked via the key.

This leaves the sliding doors which neither can be locked from the inside or outside by the looks of it.

Cheers

If you connect the battery terminals you can pull the bonnet release, lock the doors in the normal way then disconnect the battery.

If you try that the alarm will go off there is a switch by the front of the bonnet n/s UK .
I'm sure if you try to remove the battery with the door's locked the alarm will go off .
There is a small round black circle on the rear of the siding door when open with a slit in for a flat head screw drive if you turn that it may stop the rear door from opening from the out side iv'e only looked at it but have not tried it .

Not all Mk3s have an alarm though, it sounds like his battery is already disconnected?
