I believe one thing to take into consideration is the type of fuel pump fitted. Some apparently cannot cope with veg oil. Should be some info on line somewhere. Try a Google on it. |

Yup, XTR Hdi 110 with 50,000 plus miles and my journey to work involves motorway at an average 60mph. I get just around 50mpg. |

Positive from battery to positive on the dead car battery and negative from the battery to an earth point on the tow car. Did you do it this way? |
