The box underneath must be a silencer then? That was my '09 XTR 110. On my new Berl. there are pipes going into that box underneath behind engine. Presumably that is where the AdBlue goes in?  Is that DPF or is that the silencer box with DPF elsewhere? Looking under bonnet below turbo there is another box so that will be DPF then? So pre 2011 90bhp should just have straight pipe going down from turbo if there is no DPF, yes?

In the EOLYS versions (non adblue), the big cylinder after the turbo houses two "devices" inside: the catalytic converter and the dpf .Top half of the cylinder is the catalytic converter, the bottom half the dpf. in motors with no dpf, the catalytic converter will still be there... The box you indicated may also be an exhaust gas heat recovery system, fitted in vehicles for colder climates/for faster heating of the radiator water/heating system;
